Hallucinated reference checking

In order to avoid hallucinated references in Geomatics theses, I’ve implemented a reference checking system. This will be used for the upcoming A3 period.

Supervisors will be getting a report of all references and whether they’re confirmed, suspicious or (most likely) hallucinated.

So, especially if you’re using an LLM, make sure you have verified all of your references before sending the report to your supervisors.

On Monday, May 18th at 16:00 in room D we will have an intro to the thesis. We’ll cover how the MSc thesis works, how to choose a topic and which are the steps that need to be completed.

Submit the A0 form by September 19

If you’re starting your thesis now, remember that the deadline to submit the A0 form is September 19. For this, you need to have a thesis topic and a supervisor.

The 2025-2026 Graduation Manual is not available yet. Once it is out, we will update this website with the exact rules and plan a session to explain everything.

Intro session on 3rd June at 13:30 room Q

On the 3rd of June at 13:30 in room Q I will have an intro thesis class about how the MSc thesis work and which are the steps that need to be completed.

I will also give some information about the new graduation system we will need to follow.
